Fruits have been recognized as a rich source of vitamins and minerals. A fruit-rich diet prevents not only nutrient deficiencies, but chronic diseases as well. Fruits are not very high on calories. Additionally, people who consume fruits as a part of an overall healthy diet also reduce the intake of added sugar, sodium or salt, and saturated fats or trans fats. Due to this, reducing weight and eliminating signs of diseases is as easy as pie. Adding a combination of fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains to your daily diet allows the body to absorb nutrients easily.

- Exercise at least three times a week. You will be active, happy and focused.
- Nutrients in fruits are vital for good health and maintenance of your body. Try to consume foods high in complex carbohydrates, high in fibre and rich in protein. Establishing healthy eating habits will help you maintain stable blood sugar levels, minimize cravings throughout the day, and aid in cognitive health.
- Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. Keeping yourself well hydrated will keep your energy high, aid in digestion and reduce your hunger levels. Drinking a good amount of water can also increase your concentration levels.
- Reduce intake of highly-processed foods, ‘diet’ or ‘low-fat’ products, artificial sweeteners, and foods high in sugar. This switch will reduce overeating problems.
At Citrus Ventures, we realise the importance of a diet that contains natural, unprocessed, and whole foods especially when you have a busy lifestyle. Hence, in our project – Belmont next to the Nandi Hills, we have made a conscious attempt to plant several fruit and vegetable plants in each villa and plot. Every resident is blessed with a fruit or vegetable garden at his home. In this manner, Citrus Ventures attempts to bring about a small yet healthy change in the lives of its customers.
